Title-Helmet Recommendations

Findings:

• For adults. Try one of the reasonably priced models that scored high in the Ratings, including the Louis Garneau Globe, $50, the Trek Vapor, A CR Best Buy at $32, and the GT Gator, $40.
• For children between ages 5 and 14. The Giro Wheelie, $35, did best, but several others were very close behind.
• For toddlers 4 and younger. The clear choice is the Bell Half Pint Pro, $30. "
• B&K Bicycle Insight-The fit, weight, ventilation, as well as style of a helmet are some of the most important considerations when purchasing a new helmet. We have found many helmets simply do not fit correctly on all people. Simply, head shapes are different and not all helmets fit all head shapes. That is why we carry a number of brands of highly rated helmets and would definitely encourage a professional fitting before purchasing a helmet.
