Title-Felt F3
Findings:
- UNDERSTATED SPEED
- WHAT MATTERS IS WHAT'S INSIDE
- Strong, silent types who talk with their legs will take to the F3's flat-black finish. The look reflects Felt's no-nonsense approach to bike building, also shown in the careful blend of Shimano Dura-Ace and Ultegra Sl parts. The F3 uses the same frame as its $4499 big brother, the F2. Yet at 16.4 pounds, the F3 is less than a pound-and-a-half heavier (the weight of a large full water bottle) than its fancier-dressed brethen.
- IN THE PELOTON: Look for Felts under Team Slipstream, the new US squad that might take on the grand European races such as, it hopes, the Tour de France.
