Title-Giant Aeryn
Findings:
- DU OR TRI-THE BIKE'S BUILT FOR IT
- KEEP YOUR LEGS FRESH: The seat tube angle is 78 degrees, classic triathlon position; traditional road bikes have a seat angle about 72 degrees. The steeper angle puts less stress on the glutes and the hamstrings, so they are fresher for the run.
- QUITE A MIX: The Aeryn's frame is Giant's Alliance, a mix of carbon on the top half and aluminum on the bottom. The tubes are radically shaped, so the seat tube and seatpost resemble fairings. And the spec is a respectable blend of Shimano Dura Ace, Ultegra and 105 for reliable performance.
