• CHAMP TESTED: With just 3.5 inches of rear travel (and 3 inches in front) plus an aggressive 72-degree head angle, the Anthem is Giant's top bike for cross-country racers such as Kelli Emmett, who road an Anthem at the 2007 world championships, in Fort William, Scotland.
• LADIES REJOICE: In previous years, Giant's women's mountain bikes maxed out at 16 inches; in 2008, the company offers 18-inch models.
