Findings:

• "TRICKLE DOWN: In 2004 the Advanced was a works-level bike, ridden only by members of the Giant-sponsored T-Mobile team. Now here's your chance to ride a 15 lb, 2oz, (size M) bike-one of the lightest we've ever reviewed."
• "QUALITY CONTROL: There's a lot of no-name carbon fiber frames out there, but don't lump Giant in that category. The company controls its carbon fabrication from the start-as in, the spools of thread and tubs of resin that form each carbon ply. That makes Giant more comfortable pushing weight limits, and should make you more at ease, too."
