Findings:

• NEW TWIST ON A FAVORITE
• CLOSING THE GAP: The new Trance X fills a void in last year's Maestro suspension line, namely that of a fantastic 5-inch travel bike that doesn't look and feel al XC-ish. Amazingly, this frame is on a average about a half-pound lighter than last year's 4.2-inch travel Trance.
• BUT STILL: Longer travel and a stiffer frame are great for aggressive descents, but Maestro still provides awesome pedaling efficiency when needed.
