Title-Not Lance's BIKE
Findings:
- "The 2300 fits similarly to the 5900 , although the slightly shorter top tube brings the handlebar closer (a good thing for less-experienced riders)."
- "It has longer chainstays, which improve stability."
- "The handling is well-balanced; you never find yourself fighting to get into corners, or facing anything unexpected or sketchy as you lay it over."
- "The parts kit offers few problems. Except for a slightly vague shifting feel, Shimano's Ultegra group is almost indistinguishable from the higher end Dura-Ace."
- "The stem can be flipped for 7 degrees of rise or drop; in combination with the extra-long steerer tube and generous spacer stack, this ensures you'll be able to set your handlebar to an ideal position."
- "As a whole, the 2300 sacrifices a little performance for the lower price, but it's a bike that will help you feel at home blasting down a bike path, tackling a hilly century, cruising to the coffee shop or even on a racecourse."
