Title-DISC-O FEVER
Findings:
- "HALT: If you like your brakes powerful, or if you often ride in wet conditions, the 4300's Shimano disc brakes should grab your attention."
- "GRACEFUL CURVES: The 4300's flowing lines are more than just fashion. The shaping helps put more material in highly stressed areas near the head tube and the bottom bracket, and removes material where it is not necessary for less weight and a smoother ride."

Title- GOOD-LOOKING AND COST EFFECTIVE TREK 4300 DISC-$640
Findings:
- CURVES: The 4300's frame has nice lines thanks to its formed tubing, and it's strong and stiff courtesy of gusseting in key areas. Trek uses lightweight Alpha Black aluminum on the 4300 to keep its weight to a minimum.
- SAVE SOME COIN: The 4300 is available in a nondisc model for $110 less; less potent V-style rim brakes replace the cable disc stoppers. All othe components are the same
